Description

The Nikon Speedlight SB-25 is a professional shoe-mount flash introduced in 1992 for Nikon's autofocus SLR system. Designed to complement cameras such as the Nikon F4, F90/F90X, and other compatible Nikon film SLRs, it combines high output with a comprehensive range of lighting controls, making it suitable for both professional and enthusiast photographers.

With a guide number of up to 50 meters at ISO 100 and the zoom head set to 85mm, the SB-25 provides ample power for portraits, events, weddings, and indoor photography. The motorized zoom head automatically matches lenses from 24mm to 85mm, while the built-in wide-angle diffuser extends coverage to 20mm. Manual power settings down to 1/64 output and Multi (stroboscopic) flash mode offer additional creative flexibility.

The SB-25 supports Nikon TTL flash metering with compatible film cameras, as well as Non-TTL Auto flash using its integrated sensor. A tilting and rotating flash head allows for effective bounce flash, producing softer, more natural illumination for portraits and interior photography.
