Description

The Olympus OM-System F.Zuiko Auto-T 300mm f/4.5 is a manual-focus super-telephoto prime lens designed for Olympus OM-system 35mm SLR cameras. With its 300mm focal length and 8° angle of view, it provides substantial telephoto reach for photographing distant subjects, making it well suited to wildlife, sports, landscape details, and outdoor photography.

The optical construction consists of six elements in four groups, with an aperture range of f/4.5–32. The lens focuses down to 3.5m and uses a straight-helicoid focusing mechanism. Its optical design was developed to provide high resolution across the image area, while the relatively compact dimensions were an important part of its design within the Olympus OM system.

A built-in retractable hood is integrated into the lens barrel, and the lens accepts 72mm screw-in filters.
