Description:

The Pentax LX, introduced in 1980, is Pentax’s flagship professional 35mm SLR, designed to compete with high-end models from Nikon and Canon. It is one of the most durable, compact, and versatile professional SLRs ever made, featuring full weather sealing, an interchangeable viewfinder, and a hybrid electronic/mechanical shutter system that allows it to function even without batteries at 1/75 sec (X-sync) and Bulb mode.

The LX features Pentax’s unique TTL Selective-Area Metering System, which measures light at the film plane for extremely accurate exposures, especially in tricky lighting conditions. It supports both manual exposure and aperture-priority auto exposure, making it suitable for a wide range of shooting styles.
