Description

The Rolleicord III is a classic medium format twin-lens reflex camera produced by Franke & Heidecke in the early 1950s. It uses 120 film to produce 6×6 cm square negatives and was positioned as a simpler, more affordable alternative to the Rolleiflex line while retaining the characteristic TLR shooting experience.

The camera is equipped with a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 75mm F3.5 taking lens, a well-regarded four-element optical design that provides good sharpness and natural rendering. The 75mm focal length gives a natural perspective for portraits, street photography, landscapes, and everyday medium format work.

Focusing is performed manually through the waist-level reflex finder, allowing photographers to compose directly on the ground-glass screen.
