Description

The Sony α7R III is a full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 42.4-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor. Designed for high-resolution photography, it captures detailed images suited to landscapes, portraits, studio work, and commercial applications. The BIONZ X processor and front-end LSI support image processing, responsiveness, and low-light performance.

Its Fast Hybrid AF system combines 399 phase-detection points with 425 contrast-detection points for reliable subject acquisition and tracking. Continuous shooting reaches up to 10 frames per second with autofocus and auto exposure, making the camera capable of handling moving subjects as well as detailed still photography.

The five-axis in-body image stabilization system helps reduce camera shake, while the high-resolution OLED electronic viewfinder and tilting touchscreen offer flexible composition. The camera also records 4K video and provides microphone and headphone connections for video production.

Dual memory card slots provide flexible storage options, including UHS-II support in one slot. With its combination of high resolution, advanced autofocus, in-body stabilization, and robust shooting features, the Sony α7R III is a versatile tool for demanding photographic and video work.
