Description:

The Canon EOS-1N RS is a high-speed professional-grade 35mm SLR film camera, introduced in 1995 as a variant of the EOS-1N. The defining feature of the EOS-1N RS is its fixed pellicle mirror, allowing it to shoot at an incredible 10 frames per second (fps) without viewfinder blackout. This made it one of the fastest film SLRs of its time, ideal for sports and action photography.

Unlike traditional SLRs, which use a reflex mirror that flips up when taking a shot, the pellicle mirror in the EOS-1N RS is semi-transparent, allowing light to pass through to the film while still reflecting some light to the viewfinder. This results in virtually zero blackout when capturing images, ensuring that photographers can continuously track moving subjects without losing sight of them.

The camera is equipped with Canon’s advanced 5-point autofocus system and a 16-zone evaluative metering system, providing accurate focusing and exposure even in challenging conditions.
