Description

The Nikon DE-3 High-Eyepoint Viewfinder is the standard prism finder associated with the Nikon F3HP professional 35mm SLR film camera. Its high-eyepoint design allows photographers to see the entire viewfinder image and exposure information from approximately 25mm away from the eyepiece, making it particularly convenient for users who wear glasses.

The finder provides approximately 100% frame coverage and 0.75x magnification when used with a 50mm lens focused at infinity. Its built-in eyepiece shutter helps prevent stray light from entering through the viewfinder during long exposures or remote shooting.

Designed specifically for the Nikon F3 camera system, the DE-3 is removable and interchangeable with other compatible F3 viewfinders. It is a practical replacement or spare accessory for photographers maintaining a Nikon F3 or configuring a camera with the high-eyepoint viewing system.
