Description

The SMC Pentax-M 28mm F2.8 is a compact wide-angle prime lens designed for Pentax K-mount 35mm film cameras. Its 28mm focal length provides a wider field of view than a standard lens, making it suitable for street photography, landscapes, architecture, and everyday shooting.

With a maximum aperture of f/2.8, the lens offers flexibility in different lighting conditions while allowing some control over depth of field. Its manual-focus design provides a traditional shooting experience with direct control over focusing and composition.

The optical construction consists of 7 elements in 7 groups and features Pentax's Super-Multi-Coating (SMC), designed to reduce reflections and improve contrast. The lens focuses as close as 30cm, making it useful for closer subjects and detailed compositions.

Its compact metal construction and lightweight design make it an excellent companion for classic Pentax K-mount SLR cameras. The SMC Pentax-M 28mm F2.8 is a practical vintage wide-angle lens for photographers who appreciate traditional manual-focus optics.
