Description

The Canon iVIS HF10 is a compact high-definition camcorder introduced in 2008, combining Full HD recording with 16GB of built-in flash memory and an SD/SDHC card slot. Its dual-memory design offers convenient recording without requiring a memory card immediately, while allowing additional capacity when needed.

The camcorder features a 1/3.2-inch CMOS sensor and Canon's DIGIC DV II image processor, paired with a 12x optical zoom lens. Its 42.9–514.8mm equivalent focal-length range for widescreen video covers everyday scenes, travel footage, and distant subjects. SuperRange Optical Image Stabilization helps reduce camera shake during handheld recording.

Full HD video is recorded in AVCHD format, with multiple recording quality settings to balance image quality and recording time. The 2.7-inch widescreen LCD supports flexible framing, while Instant AF and manual focus options give users additional control over focusing.

Compact and lightweight, the iVIS HF10 also captures still photographs and includes a microphone input for external audio recording. Its combination of internal flash storage, optical stabilization, and Full HD video makes it a practical vintage camcorder for family videos, travel, and enthusiasts interested in early flash-memory HD recording technology.
