The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX1 was one of the early compact cameras to feature MEGA O.I.S. optical image stabilization, paired with a Leica DC lens. Its 3.2MP CCD sensor delivers classic early-2000s digital color rendering with soft highlights and natural tones.

With a slim metal body and simple controls, it is suitable for everyday shooting and collectors of early stabilized compact cameras. The camera uses SD cards and the CGA-S002E rechargeable battery system.
