Description

The Nikon Speedlight SB-28 is an external flash designed for Nikon cameras, offering a range of automatic and manual flash controls for different lighting situations. Its guide number of 36 at ISO 100 and the 35mm zoom-head setting provides useful output for everyday photography, portraits, and indoor shooting.

The flash features TTL automatic exposure control with compatible Nikon camera bodies, along with Non-TTL Auto and Manual modes for greater control over flash output. Repeating Flash and FP High-Speed Flash Sync are also available with compatible equipment.

Its zoom head adjusts flash coverage to suit focal lengths from 18mm to 85mm, with the built-in wide flash adapter extending coverage for wider-angle lenses. The adjustable flash head also supports bounce flash, allowing light to be directed toward ceilings or other surfaces for softer illumination.

Powered by four AA batteries, the SB-28 is a versatile flash for photographers using compatible Nikon film and digital camera systems. Available functions depend on the camera body and its compatibility with the flash.
