Description

The Olympus G.Zuiko Auto-W 20mm F3.5 is a compact wide-angle prime lens designed for the Olympus Pen F half-frame SLR system. As the widest native interchangeable lens in the Pen F lineup, its 20mm focal length provides a field of view equivalent to approximately 28mm on a full-frame 35mm camera.

With a minimum focusing distance of just 0.2m, the lens is well suited to close environmental compositions, street photography, architecture, and landscape work. Its manual-focus design provides the direct mechanical operation characteristic of the classic Pen F system.

The optical construction uses six elements in seven groups, while the aperture range extends from f/3.5 to f/16. Its compact 145g design and 43mm filter thread complement the small form factor of Pen F-series cameras.

The G.Zuiko Auto-W 20mm F3.5 is an interesting choice for collectors and photographers using the Olympus Pen F, Pen FT, or Pen FV, and can also be adapted to modern mirrorless cameras while retaining its original manual-focus character.
