Description

The Sony E 20mm F2.8 [SEL20F28] is a compact wide-angle prime designed specifically for Sony APS-C E-mount cameras. Its 20mm focal length provides a 30mm equivalent field of view, making it a versatile choice for everyday photography, street scenes, travel, and environmental portraits.

With a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, the lens offers useful low-light capability while maintaining an exceptionally slim profile. Its pancake-style design makes it particularly well suited to compact Sony mirrorless bodies where portability is a priority.

The optical design uses six elements in six groups, with aspherical elements contributing to the correction of distortion and aberrations. A seven-blade circular aperture is used for smoother out-of-focus rendering, while the 0.2m minimum focusing distance allows close subjects to be included in everyday compositions.

At just 69g and approximately 20.4mm long, the SEL20F28 is an unobtrusive lens that works well as a lightweight everyday option for Sony APS-C E-mount cameras.
