Description

The Asahi Pentax Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 35mm F2 is a vintage wide-angle prime lens designed for M42 screw-mount 35mm film cameras. Its 35mm focal length provides a natural wide-angle perspective, making it suitable for street photography, landscapes, travel, and everyday shooting.

With a bright maximum aperture of f/2, the lens offers flexibility in lower-light conditions and greater control over depth of field. Its manual-focus design provides a traditional shooting experience, allowing photographers to make precise focusing adjustments.

The optical construction consists of 8 elements in 7 groups, featuring Asahi Pentax's Super-Multi-Coating to help reduce reflections and improve contrast. It also offers a minimum focusing distance of 40cm, allowing photographers to explore closer compositions.

Featuring a durable metal construction and classic Takumar optical design, this lens is a distinctive addition to vintage M42 camera systems and a compelling choice for photographers who appreciate classic manual-focus optics.
