Description

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W7 is a classic, premium compact digital camera introduced in early 2005, widely recognized for its robust build, classic rangefinder-style aesthetics, and exceptional image quality. Built around a relatively large 1/1.8-inch 7.2-megapixel Super HAD CCD sensor and driven by Sony's Real Imaging Processor, it produces rich color accuracy, sharp detail, and that sought-after nostalgic early-2000s aesthetic.

At its core is a high-grade Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3× optical zoom lens (38–114mm equivalent, f/2.8–5.2), which provides sharp optics and bright wide-angle performance.
